Our summer camp is designed for small groups with individual attention.  We welcome the ages of mature five to twelve years of age.  We teach beginner through intermediate riders.  Our horsemanship camp focuses on learning about horses and riding safely while having fun.  We want kids to be comfortable around horses yet respect their size and individual personalities. 

Most of our horses and instruction is focused around the balance-seat position working towards being able to ride over small jumps, however, we do have a few horses that can be ridden western for those who would like beginner instruction in western riding.  Our horses have been used for lessons and pony rides and are very patient with beginners.

The camp dates are Monday through Thursday, July 11-28th 8:00am - 4:00 pm.  Prices can be found on the camp application form that you can download below.  All the child needs to have are long pants and a shoe with a heel.  We have helmets and riding equipment that they can borrow.

Equestrians are rewarded as they increase their knowledge and riding skills.  We have introduced standards-based levels, when accomplished, students will receive a beautiful ribbon for that level.  The ribbons are identical to those you would receive at a horseshow.  

If you would like to continue riding after your camp time is over, lessons are available.   If you would like to get a head start, lessons begin in the spring once the snow clears.
